Description: This advanced farm camp opportunity will explore the science and ecology of sustainable farm practices, harvest and feasting, and learning both on and off campus with walking tours. Exploring the surrounding ecosystem which supports our farm, doing microscopy for soil analysis, making and applying compost tea to crops, getting up-close and personal with pollinators. Campers will work with URI professionals and venture through URI forest for advanced ecology observations as well.
