Asbestos Notice
The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act requires all schools to conduct inspections to determine if they contain asbestos-containing materials. An Asbestos Management Plan must be developed, which details inspection findings and outlines response actions if found to be necessary. An inspection was conducted by R.I. Analytical. The Compass School has on file at the school the management plan for Compass. The purpose of this letter is to satisfy the requirements of AHERA for written notice. If you would like to see the plan or discuss it please contact the director at 788-8322. The Compass School does have communication from the architect of the main building and the provider of the modular classrooms that no asbestos was used in construction.
