Welcome to the Compass School

 

Opened in 2002, The Compass School was founded by a group of parents who desired an environment where their children would be challenged to become problem solvers, critical thinkers, and life long learners. Students would learn in an environment that focused on environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

2012 SCHOOL REPORT CARD

Rhode Island school performance scores were released Friday June 13, 2012 and The Compass School ranked 2ND HIGHEST out of 278 schools that received scores! Compass scored 94.33 out of 100  points!  CONGRATULATIONS COMPASS!

 NECAP SCIENCE, MATH & READING

The Reading & Math scores from the October 2012 testing are in.  The Compass School scored #1 in RI for Middle School ranking scoring 94% in each category!  Great job students!

The science test is given in May 2012 to grades 4 and 8. Compass scored among the highest in the state. We were in the top 3% of schools in each grade.
