A Celebration of Local Food

We are looking forward to our annual fundraising event on Saturday Nov. 2, 2013 at Kinney Bungalow in Narragansett, RI. “A Celebration of Local Foods” will has featured over a dozen local vendors serving food and wine. The evening spotlights and celebrates the best local markets, farms, restaurants and caterers that produce foods and beverages grown or harvested in Rhode Island. It is a great time to socialize and taste local foods. The event has been coordinated by our development committee.

The evening begins at 6PM and food is served until 8PM. From 8-9PM an auction will be held with some great local items to bid on.

At The Compass School, reconnecting students to the land and where food comes from, as well as giving the students the actual skills and instruction in how to grow food, is an integral part of the mission.  This fund raising event complements the mission of the school.

Tickets are $45 each and can be ordered by contacting Julie at The Compass School. Admin@Compassschool.org.
