School Council & Committees

The Compass School Council determines the overall direction of the school by vote. The Council is comprised of nine voting members that represent the following constituencies of the community:

• Teachers - 1 representative from each Step (3)
  

•  Parents of students (3)
  

• The Sponsoring Agency (1)
  

• Others invited by The Council: members of the broader community with special interest; academic, financial, or otherwise. (2)

The following committees also work in guiding the school’s focus and growth.

• Development Committee & Capital Campaign
  

• Learning Committee
  

• Family Resource Organization Group
  

• Physical Environment Committee, including Technology & Communications
